Dell 1950 Mass Storage Controller Driver

For starters how about you tell us what computer, mass storage device, etc
What trouble shooting have you done so far?
Did they ever work?
Have you reinstalled the drivers for the Mass & track pad?

I installed windows 7 64 bit but cannot find the drivers for the mass storage controller. For some reason the Dell doesn't seem to think my Inspiron 531 with AMD 5000 chips will run seven or 64 bit but I can assure you it does. Dec 13, 2010 - You will need to hunt them down from the device manufacturer's. Your first obstacle to install a client OS on a server is the storage driver.

I am currently having the same problem on my Toshiba Satellite A135-S4417. I can not find the correct driver for my mass storage controller. I have down loaded I think every driver or chip set or even updates available, none of which work. PLEASE HELP.....

What is the make and model of Mass Storage Device?

Ensure that you have installed available Windows updates, including Optional updates. I would also suggest you to install latest chipset drivers by downloading from the computer manufacturer’s website.
